S7 Software’s Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives

S7 Software’s commitment towards sharing responsibility in building an equitable society is reflected in our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. These initiatives reflect our endeavor to impact not only our employees, their families but the entire society at large. Through our CSR initiatives we plan to have a positive effect on underprivileged children by supporting a range of educational activities. It also forms the basis of our long-term objective of fighting Child Labor which is blight on our society.

S7 Software believes “a child is entitled to receive education which will thus promote culture and enable him, on a basis of equal opportunity, to develop his abilities, his individual judgment, and his sense of moral and social responsibility, and to become a useful member of society.” (Principle 7 of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child).

In keeping with our belief that being small is no excuse to shrink from our Corporate Responsibilities, we have committed funds up to 5% of our profit to NGOs working against Child labor. Education having a strong correlation to child labor, we are involved in promoting educational activities in rural areas and have donated computers to schools in the rural area thro’ organizations like ChinmayaSevaSanghaa. These initiatives are planned at offering the under privileged child benefits on par with a normal child and to spread the joy of learning to every child. At a more personal level, we encourage employees to share their time with the less privileged, imparting elementary education.
